Quality

In 2005, Suelopetrol obtained the Quality Certification ISO 9001 2000 granted by FONDONORMA for “Services of Perforation, Rehabilitation, Operation and Production of Hydrocarbon Fields” which became the first Venezuelan Company in this area to attain such important achievement. This Certification is also guaranteed by IQNET which is an organization that internationally brings together all other certification institutions COFRAC (France), INCETRO (Brazil), SENCAMER (Venezuela). The certification and implementation of the Quality Management System favors permanent application of improvement actions in hydrocarbons production and exploitation processes, which benefit the country. Suelopetrol also is working towards obtaining the ISO 4001 2002 Certification “Environmental Management System” and ISO 18001 2000 “Safety and Occupational Health Management” which would help to ensure a better relationship with its clients, its surroundings, the environment and its workers. Suelopetrol defined its Quality Policy as: “… to satisfying the needs and expectations of its clients through the services of perforation, workover, operation and production of hydrocarbon fields (oil and gas) with the highest quality standards, by a continuous  improvement of its processes and the use of state-of-the-art technology, with highly capable personnel, committed to the organization’s values that leads to preserve such quality standards, as well as to safety, health and environment associated to the operations, thus guaranteeing the satisfaction of shareholders, communities and the organization surroundings”.

Safety

For Suelopetrol, the safety of its workers and facilities, as well as the preservation of the environment where it works, constitutes a fundamental value. As active member of the International Association of Geophysical Contractors (IAGC) the company, not only complies with the international standards of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and the Venezuelan regulations but also it has developed its own program with excellent results.

Also, with PDVSA’s association in Petrocabimas, procedures and equipment revisions are will continue permanently in order to preserve safety in operations, both for workers at all levels in the organization and for contractors.
