1. Seismic Services

Suelopetrol is the market leader in 2D & 3D seismic data acquisition, processing and interpretation in Venezuela, having executed more than 60% of all the projects done in the country during the last 25 years. It has also recorded seismic data in México and Colombia, maintaining always the highest industry quality standards. If we add together all the distance Suelopetrol has surveyed with seismic lines, it accounts for a distance equal to twice the earth’s circumference, using both vibration technology and more than 600 tons of dynamite as an energy source. All international quality standards in Safety and Environment Protection are rigorously complied. ISO 9001 certifications in Seismic Data Acquisition has been obtained by the company. Quality and Client satisfaction are among  the company´s top priorities. Moreover, in order to remain at the cutting edge in technology, Suelopetrol periodically signs assistance agreements with technology companies to develop custom made technology and train its human talent. As an active member of the International Association of Geophysical Contractors (IAGC) and surpassing national and international standards, Suelopetrol has develop its own Health, Security and Environment programs to preserve the safety of its workers, facilities and the environment. Its infrastructure, operational capacity, state of the art equipment and its experience in hiring and training field personnel, allow Suelopetrol to successfully execute highly technical and complex projects. Suelopetrol supports its operative capacity with state-of-the-art technology acquired or designed especially for each client. For that reason the company is distinguished by its permanent innovation using highly advanced equipment and methodologies for its clients.  For seismic data acquisition, Suelopetrol employs state of the art recording equipment, topography equipment (Total Station and GPS and DGPS systems), Drilling equipment (Portable, mechanized drills for air and water drilling), specialized swamp equipment, Vibrators (5 Mertz 40,000 lb pick force w/Pelton electronics) and all-terrain transportation. For seismic data processing, Suelopetrol uses an on-site processing center in Caracas that runs Paradigm Focus Sofware.

2. Drilling Services

Suelopetrol currently owns and operates a 1200 hp Ideal drilling rig which is actively under contract until year 2015 to drill more than 50 wells for a client in western Venezuela. The company obtained the Quality Certification ISO 9001 2000 granted by FONDONORMA for “Services of Perforation and Rehabilitation", becoming the first Venezuelan Company in this area to attain such important award. This Certification is also endorsed by IQNET, the organization that internationally brings together COFRAC (France), INCETRO (Brazil), SENCAMER (Venezuela).  Suelopetrol has over 10 years drilling experience both in the Maracaibo Lake basin and in the Orinoco Heavy Oil Belt (SINCOR).

3. Logistics

Deltalog, a wholly-owned subsidiary, gives logistics support to companies engaged in the Hydrocarbon Production Industry in Latin America.  This division is focused on equipment and workforce supply for E&P clients

4.  Reservoir Studies

Through a multidisciplinary group of Geologists, Petrophysicists and Petroleum Engineers, Suelopetrol renders services to its own E&P operations and also to third party clients in the hydrocarbons industry, offering studies that evaluate oil potential in exploratory areas, prospect generation models, characterizations & reservoir delimitations, reservoir engineering studies, production & drilling locations and field development plans, which also include, risk analysis and economic evaluation.

5. Oil and Gas Field Development and Operations Management

In México, Suelopetrol participates in the Oil Field Operating company “MPG” producing more than 130 million cubic feet of gas and 5.000 barrels of crude a day for Pemex; this contract includes seismic, drilling, gas facilities construction and gas field operations.
